My name is Noah Fredrick, I'm a graduate of Federal School of Statistics where I studied Statistics
and I'm presently an undergraduate of University of Ibadan studying Sociology. I heard about SSII from my elder sister,
She sent me the flier and truly I saw there SPSS will be part of what they will be teaching. I asked her if she is
really sure about this SSII stuff because Nigerians can't do free things this days o, she assured me that it's real.
I registered immediately and few days after I was called and sent the address for the venue. What really amazed me was
that we weren't thought SPSS alone. I was like na SPSS I registered for why are they now taking us other courses,
I asked myself can this free be too lol. The funniest part was later when lunch was being shared to the participants.
I shouted are you people giving us lunch...for free too! Quite amazing! It's
really good to be a partaker of this great opportunity. God bless all the organizers and leaders of SSII.

My name is Akinsanya Olamide Favour. I'm a Microbiologist and I currently serve for my NYSC program as a teaching
assistant at OYO State College health sciences and Technology, Eleyele, Ibadan.
I got to know about SSII through my friend, Jumoke Haastrup. I joined the next day and it has been worth every bit of my time.
This week has been great on leveling up my self improvement game.
Shining Stars Initiative has been very instrumental in equipping me with STEM-related skills ranging from the digital marketing course, to Microsoft office suite to SPSS packages. To top it up, we also learnt how to build an impressive CV/resume.
The facilitators were friendly and effective at training us.
I appreciate SSII team for their dedication in putting this program together.
Thank you so much SSII.
SSII to the world!
Idowu Samuel Toluwani
Undergraduate, University of Ibadan
My name is Idowu Samuel Toluwani, an undergraduate student of University of Ibadan, Ibadan,
Department of Medical Laboratory Science. I am one of the many beneficiaries of this great program organised
by SHINING STARS INITIATIVE INTERNATIONAL (SSII). Indeed their two programmes have really been helpful and
impactful to me...the STEM project is the second one I've attended; the first being about photography.
And I can boldly say that both programmes have exposed me and increased my knowledge about these fields.
On top of that, I have also learnt how to be more enterprising and how to apply these skills for my benefit
and for others. I am entirely grateful for this programme, the organisers and the facilitators who have spent
their time and sacrificed to impact the youths of this generation
I pray God will continue to prosper this organisation and its prospects in Jesus name.

I was informed by my parents about SSII and the opportunities they give to youth in
teaching couple of softwares and skills. It didn't sit well with me that everything would be free, so I just registered for
Digital Marketing; knowing that it's a broad part of what I do. I joined the class on the second day and then realized everything on the flier would be taught.
It's been a great experience from modules to learning basic details about SPSS and Microsoft power point/excel.
Asides the training, Engr (Mrs) Deji-Akinpelu ensured couple of things about everyone coming for this event
* their well-being
* their health
* she was keen about networking and leadership skills
God bless everyone involved in planning this event.

I'm a beneficiary of SSII. This is my second edition in the Youth Empowerment Project.
This edition of STEM-related skill has actually been a great gain to me. I have been taught how to use Microsoft Excel since Jss1 but yet some mysteries were not unveiled, coming for this program has not only on enlightened me but increased my interest.
The other lectures too were good. We were all taught the power of making friends in gatherings and also having good relationship with God
It's such a good experience for me , the atmosphere, facilitators and even the participants are all great 👌.
Word cannot express how grateful I am.
Thank You so much SSII.
